Newly arrival - Shermay Lee

My meimei - Shermay Lee arrives in Gleneagles at 1318 on 30th April 2009. She weighs 3.12kg and at length 51cm. Meimei is at week 38 and 5 days when she joins our family!

A Day with Mummy

29th April - 3rd day where Mummy started her maternity leave. So we decided to go to Jurong Point since we couldn't make it to Gymboree. 1st place we headed is Kiddy Palace. Mummy wanted to complete my cooking set - fruits and food for me to cook.

Jurong Point, after renovation is so huge that we got lost and finally found out way to KP after checking with Information.

I'm so busy playing and looking around for toys.

Then Mummy decided to get me 1 more toy - cleaning set. Mini mopping, broom, pail etc..

See... i love playing with Mummy's hp..

Of course with my barney...

I love Mummy and Mummy loves me deep deep too...

New Toy from Ah Ma

Ah Ma bought me a new toy when she brought me to market on Saturday morning. Its a mini cooking set. I had a similar 1 at Mummy's house and i get pretty excited when i saw it in the market.

I cook cook cook and let Mummy tried it!!

Mummy said its HOT!! So i blow blow blow and try it myself. Yummy~~

Opps.. after taking a few snaps, Mummy realised my legs are widely opened!!!

Ah Ma's Birthday Treat

We have a backdated birthday treat for Ah Ma on 25th April. Before going for lunchie, Zong Heng gor gor went to have his new spectacle done. So Mummy took 1 cute little children spectacle for me to try on. I look nice right?

1) Maxi Cosi Toddler Booster Car Seat (for Shermin because meimei will take over her infant car seat)

2) 3-wheel Capella S901 pram/ 3-wheel Maclaren MX3. Another Pram? Until now, Shermin still likes her pram and will 'insist' to bring pram out. Currently, Shermin's pram can't add on 'stepping board'. These 2 brands should have a function for that?

3) Vouchers? Kiddy Palace, Takashimaya, Robinson are fine!

4) Cash? That's best!

JUMBO treats

Da yi-mummy and Er yi decided to give us a treat at one of ah ma's favourite seafood restaurant - JUMBO. Because they received BONUS!! Despite this bad economy, they still managed to get bonus. Mummy can only envy and enjoy the free treat!

Luckily they reached earlier to 'book' a table coz when Mummy and me reached at 7pm, there was a queue already.

Very nice food but maybe because they r too busy, we waited for a long time for our chilli crab. Papa (Er yi zhang) scolded the person who took their order. Ended up, we have free fruits! whhahaha... I had a BIG bowl of beef porridge home-cooked by Mummy and ate 1.5 fried buns. Yummy~~ then when free fruits is served, i had 3 long slices of papaya..

Daddy didnt join us because he had a terrible headache so he only sent us there. So Mummy taobao 1 pack of seafood fried rice for Daddy for his effort. So the good dinner, we went to the beach and walked around. It was very dark so can't see alot of things except lights at the opposite.

So Mummy the camera woman asked me to pose again. She forgot to ask me to stand with legs closed. So i had this solo with my legs apart!

These are my cousins. Left to right: ME, Deon gor-gor, Er jie (Dior), Da jie (Dawn), Zong Heng gor-gor. Missing from the pictures are Yuxuan gor-gor and Glenden gor-gor because they didnt join us for the dinner.

Then we walked to the sailing centre to watch some people doing some kind of wakeboarding. See my pretty Da jie.. She really resembles alot like Er-yi.

God Greatfather's 80th Birthday Celebration

25th March 2009 is GG's 80th Birthday Celebration at Pin Si Restaurant. Alot of elderly will hold their birthday celebration there. Maybe they found that the food is nice?

Since its GG's 80th celebration, he holds a total of 50 tables! The number of table is almost the same like wedding dinner or even more.

Because GG is an active member at Chong Pang GRC. So can see alot of MPs and those followers. Also alot of people from the motor trades.

A short summary of GG:

Looi's Motor was found in 1962 by BBM Mr. Looi Im Heok (GG), a champion motorcycle racer. He established a small workshop in Upper Thomson Road, a site for the former Singapore Grand Prix.

The workshop became the meeting place to all who love two wheelers. Mr. Looi was free in sharing his expertise and gave support to young talents. Many of Looi's Boys went to make a name for themselves in South East Asian Sports over the last decades.

In 1975, Mr. Looi's godson, Lee Yoon Kong (This is my Gong Gong), took over the daily management. The operation had expanded greatly. Besides repairs and tuning, the business now include sales of new motorcycles and accessories, insurance and accident claims.

Lee Yoon Kong followed Mr.Looi's tradition of understanding and fulfilling the needs of true enthusiasts. They flocked in. By 1985, the old premises could no longer contain the burgeoning growth. Looi's Motor moved to occupy the units in Yishun Industrial Park A. The direct Import and export of motorcycles and accessories were added to the existing business.

The clientele expanded further. Even larger premises were called for. Today, Looi's Motor is proud to occupy five full floors at 55 Kaki Bukit Place.

By the way, GG has launched his 1st biography on the same day. hehehe.. double celebration hor.. also there is a slide showing his 80 years of life story.. He is someone with few words. Only give a speech of less than 20 words? hehhe.. we are actually expecting more when we saw him taking out a piece of A4 paper.

GG is super busy that day so we didn't really talk to him. GG repeated Daddy to bring me along to the dinner because he has never seen me before. He was Daddy's and Mummy's solemniser when they got married legally in year 2005. However, we managed to meet up with GGM (God GreatMother). She commented that I resemble Mummy alot! hehehe...

As of 27th March 2009, my little gal is 21 months exactly and she is weighing 12.7kg at 85cm. PD mentioned that she is quite a BIG girl. I asked PD what he meant by BIG? in term of height or weight? He commented with a cheeky smile 'BOTH'!!! Is that a good sign?? I don't know. But I wouldn't be a bad Mummy to start dieting. Will let her eat whatever she wants except for less salt, less sugar and less preservative! That's what a good Mummy should behave right?

It has been a long time since Mummy took photos of me because:

1) we rarely went out ourselves on Saturday - Mummy is heavily preggie

2) our PC declared in sleeping mode for about 1 month before Daddy bought a new PC

3) Mummy's memory card was full of photos so can't take new one - Mummy bought 1 more to take more of me and meimei who is arriving soon

4) Mummy said she looks very ugly and fat now - the face is like ganna bang by car (flat and fat)

Mummy is carrying a baby and everybody knows about it. Most of you know but some might not know yet. Mummy is having a little gal again. Daddy and Mummy are happy because meimei is growing well and gender is not important. Because me and my meimei are my Daddy and Mummy's children.

Daddy and Mummy are declaring FACTORY CLOSED!! 2 kids to them are good enough though Mummy's wish is to have 3 kids.

Meimei will have all my nice nice clothings and of course she will have her new clothings as well. Girls clothings are always nice! Mummy says that with 1 kid, she can buy whatever I want. With 2 kids, she can buy almost all we want. But if 3 kids, all things that we want will be average and not the best. hehehe... so to my little meimei, dont worry, Mummy will still buy for you!

By the way, my name is given by Mummy. This time round, after cracking Mummy's head, Mummy decided to let Daddy named meimei.. so my meimei's name is SHERMAY.

Quite similar to mine. SHERMIN AND SHERMAY.. Easy to pronounce, 7 letters and meimei will be born in the month of MAY.

SHERMAY meimei, another 2 more months and we would see you real soon!!!

Second Day of CNY 2009

Second day of CNY, we are supposed to visit Daddy's da yi etc.. But Daddy is feeling lazy, we decided to skip that this year!! We spent the whole morning at home watching TV and listening to CNY songs.

Then noon time, we got ready to go ah ma's house for lunch!

Do you know that I'm tall enough to touch the lift button?

And the 1st thing i will do when i step into lift is to hold on to the railing! Mummy says I must hold on to the railing.

(Mummy's afternote: Due to no post for nearly 2 months, I forgot what did we do on 3rd day and subsequent CNY... So this should conclude 2009 CNY? Shermin received quite a far bit of hongbao $$. Again these $$ will be her future education!)

Its routine that next place to visit is Tai gong and Ah chor's house. But in Dec 2008, Tai gong just passed away. So we are not supposed to celebrate CNY. So we just visited Ah chor. As usual, all the relatives are there.

First Day of CNY 2009 (1)

First day of CNY 2009!!! So excited! Because Mummy says I'm big girl now so can wear accessories. Mummy put on necklace and ankle chain for me. Nice~

Then neighbour aunty came to fetch me to go her house take photos because I'm all dressed up.

Then we went to mama and gonggong's house.

My 1st Day to School

It was a last min decision to enrol into Tots House near Ah ma's house. Immediately, I attended school the next day. I was the youngest in class (19 months). Other kids are at least 2 yrs old. But Teacher Lisa told Mummy that its ok.

See me in my oversize uniform! Not purposely one.. But the uniform is supposed to be this BIG... hehehe... See this is my 1st art and craft for 1st day! A star and colouring is done by myself!

I started calling her 'Mummy' during Tai-Gong's wake. During that 7 days at the wake, whenever Mummy was busy, she played with me and took care of me.

Other than Hi-5, I love Barney as well.

Mummy knows me most and Mummy loves me most. So with big tummy (my meimei), Mummy brought me to Plaza Sing to watch Barney LIVE!!! We arrived quite on time but gosh~~ the people there arrived even earlier. So Mummy found a far far spot but at least i can catch Barney on stage without anybody blocking me.

The show only last for half hr and we proceeded to MacDonald for a drink.

Then to Carrefour to waste time while waiting for Daddy to knock off so that we have dinner together. I like the rocking horse but its too heavy and too expensive for Mummy to bring home.

X'mas Tree

Ya.. U can see from the pictures that I'm so excited!!! When i reached home, the X'mas tree at home has been set up. I nearly couldn't sleep...

Actually last year, the tree was set up also but with different decorations. But i was only 6 months old so i didnt really understand.

Now I'm a big girl of 18 months and I'm very excited about the decorations and 'blick blick' lights on the tree...

Mummy asked me to stand beside the tree but I only dare to sit near. Hehehhe...

My First Taste of Yogurt Drink

Reason 1: Will help me to pass motion easily

Mummy's Company Family Day

Its Mummy's Company Family Day on 29 Nov held at Sentosa.

We met Aunty Dawn because i woke up late from my nap and Aunty Dawn didnt meet the other group for Dim Sum. In the end, we reached later than 4pm and we missed our chances of lucky draws.

We took the Sentosa Express (something like monorail). Very fast de.. Maybe wait till the Resort World has finished constructed then will be nicer.. Now look worse than Daddy's LEGO.

The weather was ok. Bright and sunny. Free fold of Nachos, popcorns, ice-cream and water. Still got mini fun fair..

Was still active and happy till around 7plus.. i became so slpy and Aunty Dawn carried me on her lap.. so cozy~~ but i didnt sleep.. Daddy reached around 9pm to fetch us home. Once i entered the car, i fall aslp. Didnt even take my shower. Mummy just had a quick and warm wipe for me. Had a change and i slpt throughout the nite!

Nice day for me and Mummy because I'm good!

Mummy said got to be fair to my younger sibling.. When Mummy was preggie with me, we (Daddy, Mummy and me in Mummy's tummy) went to Thailand (Bangkok). So this time, Mummy brought my younger sibling to Korea (Seoul).

Mummy said the next time will be to Australia where Daddy and Mummy started their 'affair'.. Hopefully its not too far away. I have to be more independent - got to talk proper so that they can understand my needs, eat more solid food. Hopefully my younger sibling can join in too! Then we can go for our 1st family trip!!

Shermin's very first Neo (Card?) Print

The weather is killing us if we stay at home. My hair is never dry due to my sweating. We are forever sticky.

So Mummy decided to bring me out to Bugis for some window shopping.

Since i can walk very steady now, so no pram as well.

We are very happy during the MRT ride because its air-con and Mummy was given a seat with me on her lap. I was very well-behaved because i was munching my baby biscuits.

Mummy brought me to window shopping to see toys.. Nothing caught my eyes so i was just touching here and there. Then we went for rides at the wonderland near toy section.

Mummy decided to do something bad. So she lets me sit 6 times hopefully i can get tired of the rides and stop behaving like spoilt brat next time I see the ride again.

Really lor.. i got so 'shaky' after 6 rides and enough of that (at least for that day!!)

So Mummy brought me to my very first Neo (but its card) print.. Mummy got kinda anxious. Dont know will waste money ornot..

After 2 shots (we get 4 shots), I know where to look and see below for the choosen prints.. Mummy is very pleased!! At least money well spent! hehehe...

Mummy is still alive but just very very lazy to update my blog.

Here are some of the updates for the sake of updating??

1) Mummy has flu and cough bugs bitting her ever since she is pregnany with no 2.

2) Mummy went to Korea with Daddy for 1 week because its free WITHOUT me. Luckily they didn't tag me along because its very very cold there. Almost all of them (whole company) came back with bad rashes and bits from flu and cough (too cold?)

3) Our camera has broke down!! Think the battery lifespan is ending or ended. Daddy and Mummy will monitor the camera. If necessary will send for repair or buy new 1.

4) Mummy's baby is 14 weeks and 3 days today! Mummy has been pestering Dr Tham to scan and open eyes BIG BIG to see gender of baby. But Dr Tham said cannot see coz too small. Will scan for Mummy again in the next visit. *EXCITED* *NERVOUS* Will baby has the same 'ham chee beng' as me or 'little birdie'??

5) When camera is working, Mummy will take a picture of me in my Korean's traditional outfit which Daddy has bought for me to wear during CNY.

6) 1 more month to go before Christmas. This year, we would have BBQ at our place with all the jie-jies, gor-gors and aunties/ uncles to come.. Nearer to the date, Mummy has to work out on the gift exchange. This year, I will have more present and i will understand and join in the fun!! Daddy will put up our Christmas tree during weekend!! I'm excited!

7) 2 more months to go before CNY. Mummy has already in mind how to dress me up. I have my Korean outfit and another sundress. 2 days of outfits is done!! Maybe Mummy has to buy another 2 or more outfits, just in case i get dirty?? hehehe..

Updates are done... Hope camera is working soon and Mummy can load more pictures of me.

So we decided to go for a swim.

Updates for Month of September

Haven't been updating the blog.. here are some of the main updates:

1) Daddy's Birthday Outing
We didn't go Jurong Bird Park because Mummy wasn't feeling well (Why Mummy wasn't feeling well, will be mentioned in Point 2). So we went to nearby shopping mall just to have an outing. But Daddy is happy enough because so long we are together for important occasion, thats most important.

2) I'm going to a Jie-Jie soon
Yes! You didn't see/ hear wrongly. Mummy is pregnant! Don't use the word 'AGAIN?' because this is only Mummy's 2nd pregnancy and moreover, our (my sibling) age gap isn't that near. Will be 22 months to be exact!

Yup! I'm naughtier and more sticky to Mummy. I'm like Mummy's shadow, always following her around. Ah Ma says its because i'm seeking for attention and i can 'sense' that i will be having sharing loves from Daddy and Mummy.

Mummy is currently 10 weeks and i will be seeing my didi or meimei end of April 2009.

3) Ah Ma went to China for 2 weeks
Yup! My favourite ah ma went to China for 2 weeks. Luckily, Gu (1) Gu (1) was willing to babysit me throughout these period. Gu gu wasn't really the one who babysat me, was Aunty Ros... I loved the food she cooked. Loved it that every dinner, i got to eat my favourite fruit - papaya. Loved it when Gu gu brought us out for shopping almost everyday.

Mummy was on hospitalisation leave for few days (See point 4) because of her health for carrying my little sibling. So Mummy sent me to Gu gu's house in the morning and took care of me in the noon time.

I was always bullied by Wei Xuan Jie jie because she doesn't allow me to play her toys. So I brought along some of my toys. But my itchy hands wanted to touch her toys. I was being 'allocated' a corner and WX jie jie said i can only play there. Same treatment to Kairong who is her own didi. Poor us! The only peaceful time was when WX jie jie went to school for that 2 hrs. Then KR and me can sleep peacefully.

Finally, my last day at Gu gu's house, i fought back!!! YES! I fought back! Mummy was working and when she reached Gu gu's house to fetch me, Gu gu said all kids just cried. As usual WX jie jie disallowed me to play her toys but this time, instead of walking away, i pushed her! Then she pushed me back and both of us fall. She fall from her chair while i fall to the floor.

Frankly speaking, Mummy was quite angry with WX jie jie because she is a selfish child. Even don't share toys with KR di di. For that 2 weeks, can see that Mummy was quite pissed off with such a selfish child. Anyway, its all over already!!!

Though i get to eat very meal but i still slimmed down. Ah ma commented that i slimmed down. So when i went back to Ah ma's house, ah ma fed me every meal and made me snack every 1 hr... so no need to say much, i went back to my size and even more. When Daddy and Mummy came to visit me on Wednesday (i went back to Ah ma's house on Sunday), they can see the difference already. See how well-fed i am at Ah ma's house.

Ah ma, i love you deep deep!!!

4) Mummy was on 7 days hospitalisation leave
Mummy got a horrible scared! Gynae said Mummy might suffer miscarriage if never rest well. So Gynae gave Mummy leave and asked her to stay home and rest. Now Mummy is ok liao. Thanks to the support of Ah ma, Daddy and of course Mummy's office management that she can rest well without worrying.

Mummy took several pictures of me with every opportunity especially she dressed me up nicely.. Will upload real soon!

Pre-Celebration for Daddy's Birthday

We went to AquaMarina at Marina Mandarin Hotel for buffet because its pre-celebration for Daddy's Birthday with his old friends.

Can see that Daddy is very happy.

Zoo

We went to Zoo on 31 July for 3 reasons: Mummy's Birthday, My 1st trip and Daddy's 2nd trip ever since he was around 3 years old (still wearing mini underwear).

The weather was good because no rain. Bright sunny day! This is ME:

I cried a few times because i was really scared of BIG animals - hippo, kangaroo, ostrish, elephant etc..

The only animal or whatever u call it i like is penguin.. Because they are small than me and they swim real fast! I enjoyed their splash show alot!!

After the show, i was so tired~~

I'm going to have someone to play with me soon!! Aunty Jesline told Mummy that her little baby is doing fine and she is carrying a little gal..

Mummy says that at least some of my clothings can pass on to Aunty Jesline's little baby. There is a saying that baby got to wear some passdown clothings so that baby can grow up healthier and faster.

Aunty Jesline is thrilled! She thinks that she will just be like Mummy. Keep buying new and nice clothings for baby gal because gal gal clothings are so nice!

By November, I will have new mei-mei to play already! Aunty Jesline, u take care ok? Drink more milk, eat more cheese and cooked salmon!!

4th Month Vs 12th Month

I must admit that i have really grown up!! I can wear shoes officially, can sit straight, can stand with support, attempt to take the 1st step, can eat solid food.. I no longer want to be carried but prefer to walk around with support.

New Bed

It has been many days since Mummy had posted in my blog simply because many things had happened in Mummy's workplace. Forget about the bad things at Mummy's workplace because all are cleared now. No more babysitting!!

I have my new bed FINALLY! I love it! Because i can roll around, climb around and of course colourful prints of bedsheets.

I just refused to sleep despite its 11pm.

It's new day and I continued to roll and climb!

Mummy bought this because Daddy commented that if I sit in walker, his flooring will have alot of scratches. So I have this!! Can sit in there and played ever since i was 4 months old. Now I have outgrown so Mummy shifted my favourite to Ma(4) ma(4)'s house so that Kairong can play as well.

It's Ah ma's birthday on 22 April. We went for buffet lunch. But we didn't take photos because everybody was so busy eating. Mummy, Daddy and Ah Yi-Mummy were busy taking care of me. In the end, Mummy took picture of Daddy and me.

Alot of people commented that I look like Daddy. Do I? Except the way I 'look/ stare' at people, resemble Mummy only.

We went GSS on Sunday!

GSS started on Saturday. But we didn't go because Mummy was tired from mahjong-ing the whole night and Daddy was at work. So off we went for GSS at Parkway on Sunday!

Mummy loves shopping at Parkway because she said that Parkway got all she wanted there for me. Bought more of my clothings not only because Mummy told Daddy that I have outgrown and also because Mummy cannot resist the nice nice flowery prints.. hehhee.. i just sat on my pram and let Mummy chose while i fixed my eyes on people, people and people!

This time round, ma(4) ma(4) joined us also as she loved shopping at Parkway. So she took care of me when Mummy was browsing around. I'm actually ok with ma(4) ma(4) but everytime i see Mummy, i cannot resist myself wanting Mummy to carry.

In the end, Mummy bought a new diaper bag, more clothings for me for my birthday, claypot for cooking my porridge and my birthday party stuff. Of course with courtesy of Daddy. hehehe...

Shopped from 1pm till 5pm, i was so tired. But can't afford to let myself sleep because there were so many thing to see see look look despite Mummy was trying to pat me to sleep. In the end, before Daddy left the carpark, i fall asleep already. Ma(4) ma(4) commented that she loved the way i sleep.

Once i reached home, i woke up and Mummy decided to bring me along to send out invitation cards for my birthday for 3 neighbours.

Went ma(4) ma(4)'s house for dinner and again, i pooed during the meal which i frequently did so.. hehehe... what a relief!!

Back to ah ma(4)'s house and i was filled with energy again because i missed ah ma(4) so much. Didn't see her for the weekend..

Oh ya.. did i mention that my tooth finally showed out?? hehehe.. Mummy is so proud of me that she told everybody! Everybody was worried that i have no tooth/ teeth to eat drumstick for my birthday coming in less than 3 weeks time. It's a tiny weeny right bottom tooth, all ready to grow out!! Mummy said she will want to take photo of me and my tooth very soon! Stay tuned~

I'm proud of my mummy because this is her very 1st attempt of setting up blog despite blogging has been 'HOT' throughout the years. All thanks to Manyi Jie-jie who gave some pointers.

Mummy did this for me. Just for me because she wanted to keep records of my growing up progress (though i'm turning 1 soon). So for the 1st few posts, i guess mummy is going to upload some pictures of me when i was a tiny weeny and maybe some interesting stuff of me.. Let's see how long Mummy can keep my blog going!
